1 lb. Butter or Margarine
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup icing sugar
2 to 2 1/2 cups flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using an electric beater cream butter or magarine and cornstarch (the longer you beat, the better they are). Add icing sugar; continue to beat. Put in 2 cups of flour and keep beating. The last 1/4 to 1/2 cup flour may not be needed depending on the butter or margarine. Spoon into ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 26 cookies (Mom thinks I made mine big, so it might make more).
